John III Joins as Co-Chair for the TMPAA 2.0



A leadership team has been established for the Target Markets Program Administration Association Leadership 2.0.

Byron Way has been appointed as the chairperson of the 2.0 group for the next six months. Co-Chairs, Brian Norman (Norman Spencer Agency ) and John Paulk lll (Britt Paulk Agency) will each take a following six month term of office.

Target Markets Program Administrators Association's Leadership 2.0 group is comprised of Program Administrator and Carrier members under the age of 40. Target Markets is looking to cultivate young talent in order to help keep program business a strong industry segment for many years to come.

Welcome our newest Field Member to the Northeast!

Britt/Paulk welcomes our newest Regional Account Manager to our outside field division, Mitch Anderson.

Mitch has 15 years experience in the Insurance Industry.  He worked as a National Accounts Property Underwriter for a large company, handling commercial accounts. He has also worked as an Inland Marine Specialist, and as a Reinsurance Underwriting Specialist.  We are very excited to have Mitch market our product lines in the Northeast part of the U.S.  With his underwriting background and marketing knowledge of the territory, we are very confident that Mitch will have exciting growth in the region.  Mitch holds a Marketing degree from York College of PA.

Mitch will be covering the Northeastern part of the country visiting the following states: NY, NJ, CT, MA, ME, NH, VT and Eastern PA.

Looking for a Wind Deductible Buy Back?

Britt/Paulk introduces our newest program for large Wind Deductible Buy Back. The program offers coverage that can be written on both commercial property and property in the course of construction. Our typical policy terms are 12 months for commercial property and up to 36 months for property in the course of construction.

Our program is written through a Non-Admitted, A.M. Best “A” rated carrier and available in the following states: AL, FL, GA, HI, LA, MD, MS, NC, SC, TX and VA.

We offer a $100,000 minimum deductible and have limits of $750,000 maximum limit per policy and can be written with or without annual aggregate limit.

Britt Paulk Awarded TMPAA Best Practice Designation

Britt Paulk is proud to earn the Best Practice Insurance Designation by Target Markets Program Administrators Association (TMPAA) at this year’s Mid Year Meeting in Baltimore, MD.

Program administrators qualify for the TMPAA Best Practices designation program by seeking out greater efficiencies in the way they currently do business and serving as a best in class operation. The process includes surveys, onsite evaluations by experts and a final report.

Trucking that’s Right On...

Britt Paulk is proud to introduce the roll out of our new Transportation/Trucking Program. This will be available in all states (excluding HI) on an Admitted, A.M. Best “A” rated or better basis for trucking fleets of 10 or more power units.

Typical Classes covered include (but not limited to): Local/Intermediate/Long Haul Operations; Sand & Gravel Haulers, Cement /Asphalt Haulers, Auto Haulers, Fuel Haulers, Tanker Hauler Operations, Intermodal, Chemical/Environmental Haulers, Common Carriers and For Hire Trucking. We are also offering coverage for Contract Haulers with 5 or more power units.

Heading up this Program is Underwriting Operations Manager, David Lee. David has been writing transportation risk for nearly 3 decades and has been with Britt Paulk for 2 ½ years. David also oversees the Wholesale Distributors Program.
